Terms of Service

Kultur is operated by DEVS ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using Kultur, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You may not impersonate another person or create accounts for fraudulent purposes.

2. User-Generated Content

Kultur allows you to create and share content, including reviews, ratings, playlists, and chat messages ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. By posting User Content, you grant Kultur a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and store your content within the service.

3. Community Standards

Kultur has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You agree not to post, share, or transmit content that:

• Is offensive, abusive, threatening, or harassing
• Promotes hatred or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic
• Is sexually explicit or pornographic
• Promotes violence or self-harm
• Is illegal or promotes illegal activity
• Contains spam, scams, or misleading information
• Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
• Impersonates another person or entity

Violations of these standards may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination without prior notice.

4. Reporting and Blocking

You can report objectionable content or abusive users directly within the app. We review all reports and take appropriate action. You can also block other users to prevent them from interacting with you. We encourage you to use these tools to help maintain a safe and respectful community.

5. Subscriptions

Kultur offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions ("Kultur Pro") that provide additional features. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store; we do not collect or store your payment information.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Subscription prices may change, and you will be notified in advance of any price increase.

Apple App Store purchases

• Payment — subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase.
• Management — you can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's Settings under Subscriptions.
• Refunds — refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies.
• EULA — Apple's standard End User License Agreement applies: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

6. Intellectual Property

The Kultur app, its design, features, and original content are owned by DEVS and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the app.

Trailers play in YouTube's own player through the YouTube API Services. By playing a trailer in Kultur you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service: https://www.youtube.com/t/terms

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms or engage in behavior that is harmful to other users or the service. You may delete your account at any time from within the app (Profile → Account → Delete Account).

8. Disclaimer

Kultur is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Content recommendations and ratings are generated algorithmically and do not represent editorial endorsements.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DEVS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Kultur.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when they last changed, and the current version is always at https://kultur-production.up.railway.app/terms-of-service
